My Spa experience at Antara Spa

Hello my lovelies if you have been following my social media , you know I had been busy attending a big fat wedding in Delhi. No matter how much one enjoys the celebrations and playing dress up, by the end of it all I was super super tired….. I came back to Mumbai exhausted and next day I got asked if I would like to visit Antara Spa ……OMG ….yes most definitely yes…. That’s what I needed the most then …. A good massage to relieve me of all the tiredness accumulated over a period of over a week…… Of course I would love visit the SPA….. big big Yes…
I Scheduled my appointment and was all set to be pampered….yay…. I am a total Spa junkie….You utter the word massage and it makes go weak on my knees….. I am always……always up for it…. I definitely love trying out new therapies ….well yes… I know , I know all  I need to say is I love a good Massage….hell yeah I Do…I Do …..
So apparently Antara Spa is at this beautiful club The Club , Mumbai …. its a beautiful club and pretty spacious considering it is in heart of Mumbai…the city short of space always….beautiful drive on their private road sort of sets the tone of what is to come once you are inside….. (you don’t have to be a member to book Spa appointment)

Antara Spa is the in-house spa  of  ‘The Club’ they incidentially are also celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.
At the Spa, I asked them to suggest their best therapy and I was told Vinotherapy should be best for me…. I was all for it… In my head I was going to be massaged in Wine…..hehehheee…. well yeah!…. that wasn’t the case….turns out for Vinotherapy  special Californian Candles are ignited to generate warm Grapeseed Oil …( in my defence there are grapes involved some how….hahhahahhahaha….couldnt resist this….;-)….)
Apparently Vinotherapy Hydrates and moisturises the skin…. yay….what else does a tired girl want….a soothing massage and skin hydration all at once……
There is something about the Spa’s that excite your olfactory senses and somehow it tingles down to feeling of relaxation already even before you start the massage…… I walked into the therapy room assigned to me and I was already feeling like I had stepped into a zone where I would experience extreme relaxation…..
My experience started with a foot bath and my masseuse  started the massage …….and I was in heaven…..I told her that I had been experiencing some pain in my shoulders and my feet hurt….and voila thats when the magic started. A good masseuse knows how to relax your muscles and ease off the pain….the aroma of the wax also tingled my senses in a therapeutic way…..
………….zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…………yeah that was my state of being then…you know how it is when you have been just running around and don’t really get enough time to catch your breath….I had been living that routine for over a fortnight prior to this pamper session….this is what a doctor would advise too……I need to relax….and relax I did…..
yeah thats the happy me….smiling and happie happie…………. clicking happy selfies…( kindly excuse quality of the Picture…I was way too happy check and put on lights for a better picture quality…..but I had to put it here to share with my lovelies how happie happie me was……)
Signing off on a happy happy note…….with a resolution to pamper myself a whole lot more……..

Styling White Shirt with Saree

Hola my lovelies  If you have been following my blog you would know how much I love white shirts. It is such an versatile garment that you could make it look like a new garment every time you style it differently .

This would be Part 3 in my series of how to style white shirt, Part 1 and Deux were my take on Styling them differently.

Hope you enjoy my Indian twist to it.

Besides the white shirt I am such a big big fan of Sarees …well yes…. I know that you know that….. knowing how much I go go like literally Ga-Ga over Indian textiles Silks, Chanderis , Cotton , Benarsees you just name it….. so consider this no different…. it may be same old but the twist is…( hey I ain’t twisting the fabric here…… lol) …well so the twist is in styling them differently every time you wear.

Its so much fun to mix the Traditional and contemporary … just adds another dimension to what you wear and how you wear and keeps things interesting.

I had worn a tradition silk Benarsee by Designer Shailesh Singhania before and yet again I fell In love with this gorgeous Maroon and gold saree designed by him. This one had elephant motif woven all over with beautiful gold sari detailing on the border…. I fell the traditional Indian colours are so complimenting to every skin tone and always feel celebratory and happy to wear….

Saree of-course is timeless and so is the Classic white shirt. Marrying both in style got me to wear this saree with White shirt intend of a traditional blouse. All I needed were a pair of earrings, I Chose the contemporary looking yet statement designed by Shilpa Puri.

And you know how I love photo documenting  the looks for my blog for you all…..here goes …..
