If you have been someone who always had wanted to go to the North East and explore Culture, heritage lifestyles and try some authentic Cuisines of the region, then go no further. For I have found just the right experience. Hop on for all the details.

I have lived in many different states while growing up because my Dad was into Projects, every 2 years or so was time to pack and go to a new place. Only area I haven’t lived in India is the North East so it’s been on my agenda to go explore the beauty, culture and everyday life there, without compromising on the authenticity of the experience and being Touristy yet not too touristy.

In came Julie Kagti. So Julie, she is an acclaimed weaver who grew up in a Tea Estate in Assam, and has travelled the world, lives in Bangalore now (I met her when she was living in Mumbai) and has roots in North East. She is extremely attached to preserving the culture, hand looms and the way of life in the North East and she wants the world to come see how beautiful it all is without disturbing the ecosystem of life there, she wants travel enthusiasts to experience life as is there. I find the idea so beautiful that it’s on my bucket list now. Trust me when you see the images taken by anyone who has experienced it , you would definitely want to be the one who takes those pictures because you were there…..

I want to share this unique holiday experience with everyone who has wanted to do this but didn’t know where to find it. Curtaincall Adventures is name by which her tours go. It is an unique experience and she says she named her curated tours Curtain Call Adventures because she relates it with how actors bow after the last act and curtain falls, this may just be our last chance to see north east’s culture as is before modernity takes over their way of life.
